Healthy fruit Salad for the Winter months!

Winter Fruit Salad:

I usually think about serving fruit salad in the summer time.  However, this is a perfect recipe to warm up your family during the cold months of winter! You will get plenty of vitamin C from the kiwi, and clementines which protect you against colds.  The potassium from the bananas can help lower blood pressure and reduce risks of cancer and asthma! This salad is packed with vitamins, minerals and fiber which keeps your digestion healthy and can help you maintain a healthy weight.  Now that’s a healthy winter fruit salad!!

What You Need:

-5 kiwi peeled and sliced

-3 clementines peeled and separated

-2 pears cored and diced

-2 bananas peeled and sliced

-2 yellow apples cored and diced

-fresh mint chopped for garnish

-1 tbsp fresh lime juice

-1 tbsp agave

What To Do:

Add all prepared fruit to a serving bowl.  In a separate small bowl, mix lime juice and agave.  Toss dressing over fruit and add fresh mint as a garnish.
